Chimney flashing
Chimney flashing, vent caps and other types of flashing are some of the products we make in our sheet metal workshop. In addition to producing these products, we also offer installation services and can give you as a customer follow-up throughout the whole process – from order to finished, installed chimney flashing.
Chimney flashing and vent caps
The main function of the chimney flashing is to prevent leaks into the chimney. The flashing is laid halfway or all the way around the chimney, also known as partial and full flashing. The choice of materials for chimney flashing is large, and the design options are many. Here the customer's taste and preferences influence how the final product will look, as well as considerations such as the chimney sweep.
A vent cap on top of the chimney is necessary to prevent snow and rain from being drawn into the chimney system. Without a vent cap, the chimney can become wetter and get poorer draught, as more heat is used to evaporate moisture rather than for heating.
Additional chimney services
